Today wasn't a day to remember, it was normal to a young girl. She said good bye and went out for the day, well her guardian remained home, cooking supper. Her long hair straight against her shoulders and back, hazel eyes shining, looking like an innocent sixteen year old girl. Her tall and slender figure was high as she walked in her high tops, wearing black shorts that stopped just above her knees and a grey shirt that had a white skull that looked tough. This was Bandy, her unusual name thanks to her lie that allowed her to name herself. She didn't want to be somewhat branded, she didn't want her name to be chosen by someone else. That was when she didn't know much about Loyd. Ever since she had chosen Bandy, Loyd sometimes called her, his little Bandysnatch from the movie.
Alice in Wonderland, her favorite movie, Bandersnatch, her favorite character, so she thought Bandy, most of the school girls would laugh at her name, but at least she liked her name. Why should it matter? They were just stupid snobs who liked to make gossip and lies just to bring people down. So let them. That was how Bandy lived through. She was having a nice stroll through the park, not planning to go anywhere really, just having a nice walk, let the others see her, let them gasp as they see the white skull on her shirt. If they gossip, whatever, if they were snobs, then don't let them bring her down. Bandy knew she didn't care what they thought. As long as she had Loyd, the only person she trusted in the world, life was good.
However wonder may still cluster, she wondered what her real name was, who were her parents? However she shoved it in the back of her mind as she leaned against a tree.

Roth sensed a presence near him. As he layed in the tree on a wide branch, he sighed heavily. 'I hope it's not an annoying girl...' Roth thought. He hated people in general, but annoying whiny girls were the worst. He proceeded to envelope the tree and everything else around it for a thirty yard radius in complete and utter darkness. 'Lets see what happens...maybe it'll be fun...' Roth thought, a small sinister smile crossing his face.

Bandy had no idea that someone was in the tree, all she did know was that she didn't want to be bothered as she leaned against the tree. Then bam, there was no light, what was going on? What the hell? I know my eyes are open and I have great vision. Well this is strange. As other girls screamed from the sudden darkness Bandy giggled, holding her mouth so no one would hear. She didn't want them to think she did it, but still they were freaking out yelling and screaming. Who cares? It will pass and yet they are being so stupid and immature. Bandy thought, even though she was still confused, she could tell someone had some kind of manipulation of this. Powers, she always found they could be enjoyable, but she was normal, so it was just too bad.

As Roth heard some girls scream in terror, he laughed coldly. 'Run while you still can, girls.' he thought. Roth flicked his index finger and the darkness receeded. "Well, that was amusing." Roth said aloud as he lept down from the tree. Upon landing, Roth noticed a girl leaning against the tree. "Why hello there." he said mildly.

As the darkness ebbed away, Bandy almost didn't want to stop laughing, there girly screams was funny. As a mysterious man jumped down from the tree she was leaning under, she had a feeling of some kind of power. "Hey, were you the one who made that darkness? Man that was a good one." Bandy laughed again.

Roth glanced at the girl. 'Huh, she's pretty cute.' he thought. "Twas I, indeed. I don't care for people much, you see." Roth explained. Roth looked around. "It seems I scared everyone away. Everyone but you, it seems. Now why is that?" he said cooly.

She smiled and pulled her brown hair back behind her shoulders, a constant pester long hair was. She still leaned against the wall, just trying to make sure she would recognize this guy if they were ever to meet again. He had black and and strange red eyes, clear sign he was probably not human or had powers. "I didn't run because I figured the sun wouldn't just disappear, plus running would be stupid in my mind, I could crash into something. Plus I am not afraid of the dark." Bandy said as she added a little smirk to her smile.

Roth grinned slightly. "Your not ignorant like the other humans. I think you and I might get along..." Roth said quietly. (Sorry for posting so late, I've been busy with work.)

Bandy smiled, at least some people didn't act like they were the best. "Thanks, besides, who wants to be like those girls getting there stupid nails done and make-up. I only if its Halloween." Bandy said.
