Lilith wandered around in the outside world. She had a small backpack on with anything she might want in it. Food, water, jars of plants and dirt. The regular stuff. She had heard from somebody in the lab that there was a supposedly haunted house. So of course she grabbed her cat and ran to come see it. Who doesn't love a haunted house?
Her tiny little kitten of which she had not named yet wandered along beside her. In her mind she saw the map she had searched up. It had the house marked off on it and so she knew where it was. Soon it came into her view and she smiled. It was pretty much just a run down mansion. She picked up her cat and place it comfortably in her backpack so it didn't get into trouble.
Lilith smiled as the cat cuddled up to sleep. She shoulder her backpack again and walked towards the house. She pushed the front door open and almost jumped with how creepy it was. She clapped her hands and then turned on a flashlight she had been carrying. The house groaned and creaked as she walked through it, adding to the haunted feeling.
Lilith went on through the house, her cat snoozing in her backpack and her flashlight lighting her way. She searched through most of the ground floor before she came to one of the many closed doors she had already opened. She opened this one and much to her surprise on the other side was a person. Without thinking Lilith lashed out with her fist.

Wondering around the old mansion wasn’t what she planed to do, but somehow she ended up walking through the eerie mansion looking for her ragdoll kitten Maze, who thought it would be a good idea to sneak away when Oriole wasn’t looking. She sighed loudly feeling very frustrated that she would even go into such a creepy place like this of all places. She looked further into the mansion not wanting to go any further then the light from outside coming through the open door would go, too afraid to go any further into the darkness she rummaged around in h bag for any kind of flash light, but ended up with holding her open phone a substitute. Oriole heard the door shut and froze where she stood for a moment before continuing.
She heard faint meowing coming from one of the rooms and tentatively made her way to the room where was coming from. Oriole came to a room with the door slightly open and she slowly pushed the cracked door open and shut it behind her to make sure Maze wouldn’t run out a soon as she found her. She then saw maze sitting in the corner of the room and started to walk towards her until she heard the sound of footsteps of someone’s footsteps coming from outside. She took a few steps towards the door visibly shaking. Although Oriole had never believed in haunted houses, she was reconsidering as she reached for the doorknob.
But somebody opened the door before she could turn the knob and she found herself looking at a tall girl with auburn hair. Oriole was immediately relieved until the girl lashed out at her and smacked her in the face and she tumbled backwards onto the ground. She then saw a frightened Maze run out of the room before she could catch her.
“You shouldn’t just go punching people in the face.” She said glaring at the girl. She really couldn't blame the girl for smacking her in the face she was probably scared, but she couldn't stop herself from snapping at her, she rubbed her cheek and got to her feet as quickly as she could. “Maze come back!” she called and ran after her.

Lilith quickly realized that what she had hit was a person and not some freaky demon. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry I thought you were a demon or an ax murderer. I didn't hit you too hard did I? Are you okay?" She was aware she probably sounded really stupid and dense, but she really was sorry. She hadn't meant to hit the other girl.
Then a cat ran past her feet and for a second Lilith wondered if her kitten had gotten out of her bag so she took it off her shoulders as the other girl ran past her yelling something that Lilith didn't bother to listen to and saw that her cat was still sound asleep. So Lilith decided that the cat was the other girl's and that she would help the girl catch her cat because it was the least she could do after punching her.
Lilith ran after the girl and her cat and then slowed down. Did the girl say the cat's name? It did have a name right? Ace? Daze? Faze? Maze? Yes it was Maze. Okay so Lilith was looking for a cat named Maze in a creepy old mansion. Shouldn't be too hard. Lilith clucked her tongue as she followed the other girl in search of the cat.
"So is this cat yours? And I thought I heard you call it Maze am I correct in thinking that that is its name?" Lilith kept an eye out for the cat and saw a shadow of what looked like a cat. She hoped it was indeed the cat and not something creepy. She gripped her flashlight like a weapon in case it wasn't the cat though.

She clutched her phone close trying not to drop her only light source. Oriole heard the faint sound of the girl following close by, but she didn’t care it’s not like she was going to come other and hit her again. Oriole heard the sound of the other girl’s voice from behind her, but ignored the question and looked around to see if Maze was anywhere nearby. She turned to see the girl looking like she was going to use her flash light like a weapon, so she turned to see a shadow that most likely belonged to Maze and she came to an immediate stop to try and get a better look by shining her phone over in the direction of the figure.
She then boldly strode over to where the figure was hoping it was Maze and not something else clutching her phone tightly. But as Oriole approached she spotted a fluffy tail sticking out and immediately knew it was Maze, she tried to sneak over without making any sound to try and catch her, but as soon as she took a step the old floor boards made a loud creaking noise and Maze ran out from under her and into the direction of the other girl standing behind Oriole

Lilith stopped for a second and then watched the other girl walk towards the shadow. Something lit up in her eyes and Lilith could tell that it was her cat so she quickly pulled out a jar from her backpack. She heard her kitten mew in protest of being shaken awake, but it quickly went quiet again. She opened the jar and found it to be some time of vine. She looked to make sure that the girl wasn't looking and then made a little net out of the vine using her powers.
She watched as the cat ran her way then lunged on it with the net she had just made. She held the cat down, trying to keep it calm and shushed it. "Hey I think I got it." She told the girl. She kept holding down her little vine net until the other girl could get her cat. "I'm Lilith by the way." She stated.

She was instently reilieved to see the girl catch Maze and ran over to her, she took Maze into her arms and hugged her with her left arm, while she still held her phone in the other hand tightly not too keen on being in the dark without it.
“Thank you, Lilith?” Oriole said, pretty sure that she said her name correctly.
“Maze stop running away when I’m not looking, you little stinker.” She scolded with a relieved smile on her face. She held her closer and hugged as best she could with one hand.
“Oh by the way my name is Oriole.” She said, too caught up in the moment with Maze to tell her. Maze meowed in protest to being held so tight, but there was no way that Oriole was going to let her go so soon after getting her back. She looked back over to Lilith with a grateful expression on her face and thanked her one more time before checking her phone battery, but to her dismay she only had one bar left.

Lilith smiled as she watched the girl, Oriole, interact with her cat. It was kind of interesting to see somebody who wasn't herself play or talk or even just touch animals. She broke a piece off of the vine net and then quickly stuffed it back into a jar and then the jar into her backpack. Yet another annoyed mewl from the kitten trying to sleep.
Lilith tried to think of a conversation and instantly went to cats. "It's really cool that you have a cat, because I have a kitten. I brought it along too." Lilith gently picked up the kitten in her backpack to show to Oriole. "I haven't named it yet, but it's really well behaved and I like it." The cat just relaxed in Lilith's arms as it surveyed the area.

Oriole took a small step closer to Lilith to see her put something in her backpack that she didn’t notice before, it was followed by a small meow that came from her backpack. She then pulled out a small kitten and showed it to her, the little kitten just curiously looked around the mansion, Oriole’s face lit up with a warm smile on it as she looked at it. She tentatively put her cell phone away relying on Lilith’s flashlight instead. She reached out a hand for the kitten to sniff before petting it gently on the head.
“I wish Maze would behave this well, she’s always running away when I’m not looking.” She said looking at Maze. She felt happy talking with someone other than her sister for a change, even if it was just idle chitchat between her and someone she just met, even though she did punch her in the face.

Lilith laughed at the idea of her kitten not running away. She supposed it was pretty well heaved and walked beside her most of the time, but sometimes it would run off and then it would take her a while to ind and catch the damn thing. It wasn't really the best. "So why are you in this spooky old mansion? I'm here because I'm off work today and I wanted I investigate and see if this place was really haunted. Lilith flashed a tentative smile.
She like the idea of the place being haunted. It was kind of over grown ad molding as well, which made it all the better for her considering her powers. Lilith then set the little kitten on the ground to lead the way. She wanted to continue exploring after all. "If you want you can come along too." Lilith stated as she shine her flashlight at the darkness in front of her.

Oriole looked at Lilith when she heard a laugh come out of her mouth. Apparently she feels differently about her little kitten. Oriole thought to herself.
“Oh, I just love scary, maybe haunted mansions.” She said with a small laugh not even bothering to hide the sarcasm. Why would anyone want to go into a creepy old mansion, it’s not like it was really haunted or anything strange like that, but apparently Lilith liked that kind of stuff.
Oriole knew that if she lost Maze Sierra would never forgive her, thus her reason for coming in.
She was snapped out of her thoughts as the light from Lilith’s flashlight moved away and Oriole started to panic and she instinctively moved closer to Lilith. “Yeah I guess I could tag along.” She said trying to hide the anxiety in her voice. She moved to walk beside Lilith the only noise was them walking, and the creaking of the old floorboards as they let the little kitten guide them. Letting her thoughts wonder back to Sierra as she explored the mansion with Lilith she absent mindedly asked. “Hey Lilith, do you have any siblings? I have a little sister.” Oriole said quietly.
