Carson looked out of the window from where he stood behind the counter, rain pounding the window as he looked out into the street. It had been drizzling for about two hours now and he was pretty sure he wasn't going home now. Carson hated driving or any kind of vehicle, but he didn't want to go out into the rain either. He let out a sigh, brushing his long black locks of hair out of his face, his grey eyes staring out. He worked in a small store, the walls a light green and the floor a speckled white tile. The store sold comics and movies ranging from old 80's movies to ones that weren't on DVD yet. The comics were less popular as online stores often stole all the business. He leaned against the counter, cursing at himself for forgetting his umbrella again. From the way it had been going it also seemed he wouldn't be leaving for some time. He took off his name tag and set in the drawer next to the cash register, walking around and exiting the store to go and sit on a small bench just outside the store. It was actually just a simple bus stop, but Carson liked the smell of the rain much better than the stuffy store. He leaned his head back, looking at the small glass overhang that shielded him from the rain. Carson was colorblind and couldn't see any colors, everything was simply placed in a monochrome setting. It didn't make any difference really for him, he just saw the world in a different way, nothing too big. He kept his eyes fixed to the glass, not really bothering to look when another person sat beside him.
